Does anyone have experience with Appalachian flooring excel Heritage collection wired brushed hardwood Canadian company?

Hello, I do not have experience with this company. I did just look them up and here is my 2cents

Excel refers to the grade of the lumber - looks like is a what most wood companies refer to a Character Grade. I could not see a product or collection called heritage.

It looks like they use a Baltic Birch Core, which is good, we alway use WBP Baltic Birch, not sure if they are.

I don't know anything about their length specs, milling quality, what glue they use to engineer the wood flooring etc.

Does anyone have any experience with their Signature collection excel series in maple wood color travertine or pebble in ultra matte finish ? It is engineered wood 1/2 " thick with 3 mm wear layer We are ready to decide soon and it is going on first floor approximately 1300 sq ft. After reading some of the reviews I am not so sure. I will greatly appreciate if you can share your experience with this product

We are getting our 20 year old hardwoods refinished right now because they are trashed! Here are the "really" bad things we've noticed. Do not push your furniture across the floor! It will leave gouges. Buy tons of felt protective pads in all different sizes and put them on EVERYTHING. You also need to replace them frequently and keep the pads clean (if there is any grit or dirt on the pad the protective pad turns to sandpaper). Put an area rug under the sink/DW and water dispenser to catch drips (and shake and clean under rugs regulary so no dirt is trapped under them). Our kids have plasma cars and they have destroyed the floors so I would say no wheels at all on the floor. Don't push that piano! Swiffers or dust mops are great and help keeping it clean.

Thank you for posting your daughter's flooring pictures. She has a beautiful place. I am going to buy this floor. I selected the "Hammer Glow" which is a medium brown. I hope I don't regret not going with the RInging Anvil. Geesh, It is so hard to decide. Especially when it is going through an entire house (except for the bathrooms).
