Favorite water plant prints?
Comments (3)The first person I thought of, Catherine, was Georgia O'Keefe, but I guess she didn't ever do a lotus or waterlily. While doing a search for her, though, I found this guy's site. From sultry to sublime, he puts out some gorgeous art! Although, some of it looks like it might be better enjoyed with a hit of acid. LOL I'm sure others will come up with even more beauties. :) I loved your lotus pic over in the discussions area! I took the liberty of "chaulking" it (really easy to do in Paint Shop Pro), but I especially like the original! :) Brenda...See Moresource of Paisley Print
Comments (1)I have also been looking. Mary at Lakeside Acres does not ship any more, so that is out; unless you visit her. There are very similar plants that are more readily available. I am unsure of those off the top of my head. The picture is breathtaking, I have a sense that might be the extent....See MorePrint Artist 4.0/Print Master
Comments (9)I have Home Edition XP and installed PA 4.0. It works fine with one exception. I have multi fonts which makes it slow to use. Does anyone have an answer? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with same results. I tried to find the site "Print Artist Lovers" and cannot find it to post the question there as well. Does anyone have their address? During the install I asked for medium number of fonts the same as I had on 98 computer before it crashed. Below is the list of extra identical fonts that I have. I have : 32 copies of Arial 35 copies of Courier new 37 copies of Courier new bold 37 copies of Courier new bold italic 36 copies of Courier new italic 3 copies Franklin Gothic medium 2 copies Lucinda bright demibold 3 copies sano typewriter 2 copies Palatino linotype bold 22 copies Times New Roman 72 copies Times New Roman Bold 36 copies Times New Roman Italic 3 copies TW Cent MT Condenser I have been to MS help then "Control Panel">"Display" and also "Font" without finding any solution. Can anyone suggest a resolution?...See MorePlease help me with zebra prints
Comments (6)I think zebra prints work with a wide range of interiors. They aren't that different from a black and white stripe fabric, except with softer and more naturalistic lines (which I think makes them even easier to use than the dramatic lines of a large B&W stripe). You can also fine toned down zebra stripes--brown & white, gray & white, taupe & cream, etc,--if black & white is too bold. I scanned a bunch of Houzz pics to see if I could suss out where they didn't work, and found I generally didn't like them in rooms with not a lot going on. In the room below, with the uninspired beige sofa against the beige wall, the zebra bench seems forced (although if the pic had been taken from the other angle with the bench framed against the rust-colored chairs, I might have a different reaction). Don't like: And to make my point on the reverse angle, here's the other side of the same room. I still don't love the interior as a whole, but I think the zebra fits in and doesn't feel forced. Here's another where the zebra print is the only interesting thing in the room. (Don't like)...See Morerobo (z6a)
