I dont' see any issue with the brick, but the wood railing/posts are a little close in tone -- I'd be tempted to stain them darker toward the roof tone. Then I'd tone down the dormers a bit with a light tan or taupe color.

What is the age of the house? I am thinking 1910ish plus/minus. A big window like that was meant to impress because plate glass was a big deal. Do you think it may have had some leaded glass in it at one time? Here is a much more modest c.1910 classical revival house with overscaled Palladian window and here although there are divisions in the windows, they are painted dark to emphasize the glass area rather than the divisions.

I really like the basic look. The wood trim could be a little beefier and I agree with coartjst about the porch and the porch/stoop seems a bit dinky for the overall structure. Just a not well thought out thought, but if you would be interested in a larger porch, a porch extending to to the side of the house with a shed roof might work. You might ask your architect to sketch it out.

The little gable is the main entrance, it will have wooden beams with stone on the bottom of the beams like in the inspiration photo. The middle gable has a covered porch under it. This 3d drawing i got with hover app, I just did it too early in the process thats why it doesnt show a lot of the stuff. I know we messed up with the design of this entrance, but its too late to change anything. Need to work with what we have. We are home owner builders and have already realized a lot of things we should of done different.

We're planning to do an addition out the back and renovation anyway. The siding and windows needs replaced. So we would like to make it a little more modern. Thinking about painting the brick white and replacing the siding with white siding or stucco. Getting black frame windows. Also trying to think of how to make the bay window on the front left look more modern as well. Would be glad of any ideas though.
