To be honest, I think we’re all going to have to share the few rooms. I am going to submit plans on renovating the castle ruins to … I’m not sure who. Queen Elizabeth? She and I will probably have tea together a few times. She’ll insist I just call her Liz.

@sheesh I agree that is boring which is why I'd rather yield. I don't do it for fun, but rather because I can't find what I want and didn't have someone else to make it for me. I have that now so probably won't do my own unless I'm really bored.

@sheesh - thanks and I feel the same about sewing clothes so I can carry fabric and bring you ribbons, buttons, whatever is needed and maybe sew a button (but I'd rather not). I enjoy building for the same reason you do sewing.

I hope this island has a smuggler’s tunnel that connects with the mainland. I just read a book like that — woman separates from husband, goes to their private island (I think it was Scotland) to write (of course!), just her and her dog, gets threatening letters, finds a creepy secret tunnel, and I had to stop reading. It was really bad. Every page was like a diary entry … she drank too much wine every night, was hungover every morning, sat around musing and watching birds. I don’t want to read about my own life, tyvm.

(I’m kidding. I’m not separated and don’t have an island.)
