hi & thank you both for your responses. i do not own a cat so thats ruled out. I have other plants that are planted in an organic soil type thing which on the bag states is a mix of "compost bark, sphagnum peat moss, pasteurized poultry litter, and an organic wetting agent" that are doing quite well. do you think i should replant these 2 in this type of soil? the room my plants are in is approx 16x18 and the only source of natural light is through my sliding patio doors. the room temp is at a constant 65 degrees Fahrenheit. i dont know what could be causing those burn marks on the leaves of my janet craig, its kept in a low lighted corner. the pot that the pachira is in is 7"tall x 6"diameter, the tree itself is 13.5" tall from the soil line to the top most leaf.

I'm disappointed that the salesman has not replied to my last email. I'm going to write one more time and wanted to cut and paste the appropriate directions from the Honeywell installation guide. Can you tell me which of the following systems I have with a/c, gas furnace, and heat pump? (I'm confused as to whether "duel fuel" means 2 stage or if "stage" refers to something else.) Standard Heat/Cool Heat Only Heat Only with Fan Heat Only Series 20 Cool Only Standard Multistage up to 2 Heat/2 Cool Heat Pump with No Auxiliary Heat Heat Pump with Auxiliary Heat A retired HVAC guy who owns the HW 8321 told me: "Most heat pump systems are two stage, with the first stage being the compressor and the second stage the electric heat section. with a single stage system the w2 terminal is not connected." So I'm wondering if this is what I can tell the salesman--that all they have to do is not connect the w2 terminal??? Thanks!

I was in love with a pic of a wooden island with big wheeled feet. I got the same responses you did from the forum and from my contractor. I ended up having my dream island built for me - just without the wheels. I still love it, but I was able to have electrical and didn't lose the extra inches of storage I would have lost with feet. Maybe you could get your island made but without the feet or the feet could just be decorative?

Well it sure is beautiful. But, I'm my own maid and I value minimizing upkeep, so appreciate the point on cleaning the cabinet, and I'll never do marble for the same reason. Appreciate you educating me a little more on a couple of things: -I'm planning a plain white swanstone base and 3 wall alcove shower surround with crown moulding at the ceiling (urethane or pvc) and nice trim around the shower wall edges so you don't see the edges of the wall panel and it's finished off nicely. I am also planning to install a hollspa floating shower bench. The bench surface can be made of the same material as the countertop. I'd like my bathroom to be warmer colors....maybe a beautiful medium wood tone cabinet.....what brand/colors of quartz or solid surface colors would you recommend for counter and bench? -Because this is not a fancy tile shower, I was contemplating a frosted or textured frameless shower door. The texture/frost glass is on the outside of the shower, not the inside. Is that still a maintenance challenge. -I love that double stacked ogee. Is chipping a problem with quartz and solid surface? Do you recommend a different decorative edge that's less of a problem? Many thanks again for your expert advise.
