Bedrosians Cloe 5x5 Square Tile- pictures please

Would love to see some pictures of people’s square bedrosian tiles! considering using this tile for our kitchen backsplash.

Hi! Here is our square Cloe kitchen backsplash. We had 14 feet to cover on the open shelf side and I like the way the proportion works. We do have the subway size Cloe in our guest bathroom and love it too.

We are just finishing our shower project, and we used the Bedrosians Cloé 5x5 tiles in white. (Still have to mount the hand held shower.) We are very happy!

Trina Taylor I love your bathroom! We are considering the exact same tile with color hardware. Do you mind sharing the details of the shower trim brand color a well as the grout color? Also how is the grout holding up over time? This is my one hesitation and it makes me want to consider a large format tile except that it’s a completely different aesthetic. Would appreciate your feedback especially now that you have had installed for some time. :)

benjesbride, one reason for rotating the shower and running it the width of the exterior wall would be to get rid of the existing half wall, which now creates a large dark area by the vanity. If I rotate the shower, I was thinking about putting both the shower head and the controls on the left hand wall. Stepping into the shower to turn on the water is not a big issue and I don't like the idea of having the shower head and the controls on separate walls. cpartist, thanks for the tip on the sliding glass doors. They certainly have changed over the last 25 years! I understand your point about a shower bench. Maybe a footrest or a couple of curved corner shelves would add a little bit of decor to that end of the shower, even though I doubt the spray from the shower head would reach that far. One question: How wide was the curb on your 3' x 6' shower?

Jolene. Tilebar has the Portmore, which is very similiar. (HomeDepot and Wayfair carry it under their IvyHill line) So you're building a new home and paying people to do the home like you want, and you aren't allowed to use certain tile? her tile guy will "only do certain tile" ?? sounds like her tile guy (and her) get a monetary incentive to use a certain company. If you purchase the tile yourself, w/your money on your dime, and have it at the new build, will they install it? How about you just don't do a backsplash, move in, and hire a tile person to install the tile you want? For your bathroom shower, I guess you'll have to pick something else. Or, advise your builder you want a diff tile contractor. This is so ridiculous. If I'm paying people to build my home, they better use the materials I want. (unless this is a tract home?? ) BTW, any further questions, please start your own post.

Based on the overall - I would be happy. The general lines (both horizontal and vertical) look straight and the walls are likely not 100% square. White grout was a good choice for the tile variability. Keeping the lines straight on a tile that has this much variability is hard and I would say he did a good job. Note the consistent tile slice on the left and that means he probably had to make small adjustments left / right to make that happen and he did so while maintaining stright vertical lines. Same with the same size pieces he used to end at the time and it's obvious that the ceiling isn't perfect.

As a first-timer, I fretted over which approach to take. I went with white metal Schluter for the edges and for where I tiled into the windowsill. In all scenarios, when looking ”head on” I have the skinny part of the Schluter facing forward. I like it; it seems to mostly disappear.

@Bivian Torres Thanks! I have been very happy with our bathroom project. Shower trim is Delta Trinsic in Champagne Bronze. We also have these faucets at the sinks, a tub filler, and towel hooks. Black cabinet hardware and black rimmed mirrors. We used Mapei White grout, it's a creamy white and we have not noticed it turning yellow. I do, however, squeegy my tile walls religiously after using the shower. :) I love the mix of patterns, textures, and finishes.

@onedog1cat thank you! It's a quartz called river but I'm sure that name is specific to the place we got it.
