OT, but this reminded me of my pink Turk's cap shrub that occasionally puts out a branch with red or red and pink striped blooms.

Maybe can save seeds, depending on what tonight's forecast freeze will do to the plants. Will you want some? As we know, resultant plants will not necessarily produce pink flowers.

Not OT your Turk's Cap. My understaniding is that your case and mine are results of different genetic expressions. Not that I know much about either.

Probably should not expect seeds from this, at least not viable ones. Doen't look terrible now, but plants' visible reaction to freeze always worsens long after the event.

I see a plant that has seeds, I will collect them.

I have red and coral pink salvia, so I'm not needing anything more, but thanks for the offer. Both provide viable seeds too.

A couple of my salvias came up pink last year and this year. of course all my salvias froze last week but I have saved seeds of both colors and took cuttings to root before the freeze.
