How to make round mosaic tile sheet edges look finished?

Hello. We are in the middle of re-tiling our master shower stall with bench. We purchased Villa Cer Beaumont Shadow Mixed Pnny (I think they miss spelled Penny on the lable). Anyway, the bench is an irregular shaped triangle. We've got metal brushed nickle edging on the front. The original tiled seat had silicone caulk around the three sides without metal edging. However, since we decided to go with this dotted/penny tile the problem we have encountered is that it's hard to get a clean cut with our wet saw. The edges of the dots splinter. I'm wondering how to get a clean looking border around the seat. I'm not certain caulking is going to cover the splintered edges, or am I going to have to use a bullnose tile edge on top of it?
