faboushi926, I think everyone has good intentions here but reading all the above (including my own comments) I can see you getting overwhelmed with the differ view points/opinions. This is your room, your going to live with it and should feel like when you walk in the room it puts a smile on your face. Go with your gut, do some research (I found pinterest to be helpful to stir up ideas), talk to someone who you trust and knows you and what you like to help you (I don't have an eye for decor and my sister helped me give some direction). Also, take your time! There is no rush to have everything done in a day, week, or month. I have lived in my place for almost a year and not done decorating/adding furniture. Good luck!

Before adding art to the walls you might want to finish getting your furniture. It seems that you especially need tables/lamps. Overhead fixtures are the worst for creating harshness and making everything and everyone look bad. Are you adding chairs? Have you considered a more colorful rug? Once these things have been determined it is time to think of art, You should not just go out and buy stuff for the walls, Take it slowly and wait till you see things that you love or have meaning. The decor can be things other than " pictures". It can be plates, baskets, funky objects, wreaths, etc.

OK, I have only rarely seen a 70" round table so that is good info that yours is 60" So that last drawing has the right size table. Once you get your furniture arrangement set up, then we can determine how to best deploy your art. I'm thinking of a "grouping" on the dining side of that long wall. Perhaps the biggest (crab?) and then stacking some on each side of it, or even adding to the grouping to make up a "gallery" look. We can figure that out later.

I am assuming your podcast will be video'd, so people will see your studio. The first thing I would do is get rid of the coffee table, it is totally lacking in style. I am not sure about the ottoman either. While it is nice, it is for a residential space, and in addition, the color doesn't relate to chairs, and as this is not a home, you don't have the opportunity to bring in other things to allow the blue to connect with the yellow. Under the window get a glass console table, perhaps with a shelf on which to place the products that you will discuss during your podcast. In addition, get a coffee table, perhaps a round one, on which you and your guest can place a cup and the products you are discussing. I am not thrilled with that metal window covering. Perhaps you can cover it with something? On the walls you could project photos of people carrying the products you are discussing. Or something similar. And take the photos yourself, or find classic photos.
