Oh golly!! If you like British (and Aussie/NZ) TV, there are too many good shows to list! Maybe it would help if you could break down your preference as to category - mystery, drama, comedies, period drama, documentaries, series or films, etc.

We've enjoyed Madame Blanc Mysteries, Midsomer Murders, My Life is Murder, Whitstable Pearl, Manhunt, Bloodlands, Land Girls, Winter, Doc Martin, Foylee's War, A Place to Call Home. We really like Acorn.

I've had it in the past, and might again - I switch on and off streaming services every 6 months or a year or so. Generally, I prefer Britbox, but Acorn still has some good ones like Vera and Hamish Macbeth. Also to Agatha Christie mini-series adaptations: And Then There Were None, and Witness for the Prosecution.

We loved Acorn for awhile but we don’t watch detective / mystery shows so the programs of interest finished up for us. 800 Words, Detectorists, A Place Called Home, and a few others were very enjoyable.

I'm currently watching Under the Vines along with you, Annette; have also enjoyed 800 Words. I'm another who is not into detective/mystery shows but have found lots to watch outside that genre. I began to make a list but it's grown pretty long so I'll just mention several favorites for your consideration:

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve gotten over detective shows, just watched so many over the years. I did start A Place to Call Home last week and am enjoying it so far

I watch acorn TV everyday through my kitchen window. Since my house is surrounded by a forest with many oak and hickory trees there are always hundreds of squirrels running around either burying or digging up acorns.

We just got Acorn. I'm also bored with detective shows unless there's a good story besides the crime itself, like Grantchester on PBS. We've watched one episode of Under the Vines and two episodes of Dead Still. Dead Still is set in Victorian Ireland. It's about a man who photographs the dead and the situations he runs into. Good so far.

A lot of those that you mention we get on our PBS feed. Do you have a PBS Station available

Love my Way, Bloodlands, Small Claims and Agatha Raisin are some we’ve enjoyed that haven’t been mentioned.

Love Acorn as it has such a variety.
