Please Help my Boring Living Room — Need Paint Color Help!

Hello! I’d appreciate any feedback and advice (I can take it—I know this room is boring!). I want to repaint. Right now this room is SW color matched Tobacco Road (had it in 2 houses since 2010!) I’m thinking BM Edgecomb Gray.

This room faces west. I live in Wi, where light is not very abundant. I’m tired of the gold.

Last year I painted all of the golden oak trim SW Pure White. Replaced all of the doors and baseboards. My husband ripped out the carpets/tile and installed LVP (WPC?) throughout the whole house. Windows will eventually be replaced, but I was too afraid to paint those.

Is there a better color than Edgecomb Gray? I’d prefer something not tooo cool. Try Trying to stick to a color with a light value in the 60s—not too light or dark. Unless I’m wrong.

And anything else wrong with this room, I’m all ears. Thank you!!

** Christmas tree will be gone on Friday, but it’s real and we can’t put it in a snow bank. Console table will be centered on the pony wall where it normally goes.

ETA I can’t draw a scale drawing to save my life, but I just measured and the room is 18 feet wide and 17 feet long. I also added a picture of the cabinets/backsplash/counter in the kitchen because that will be painted, too. Cabinets are BM Cloud White. Granite is New Caledonia.
