Garage Door is a Different Color White than the Trim

Jim G

I need opinions. I am building a house and had to pick a garage door very early in the process. I am happy with my door selection and chose the "standard" white color because I knew that I would choose white trim. Many weeks later, I selected S/W Peppercorn with S/W Pure White trim (and I love both colors!)

It recently occurred to me that the two whites will probably not match. And, in fact, after checking, they do not. The garage door is a much "whiter", cooler white than S/W Pure White.

While I CAN match the trim to the door, I prefer Pure White for the entire house.

Though it hasn't been delivered, I am told the door is already painted and I am not going to re-paint a factory-painted door.

So, my big question is "will the side of the house look 'off' if the garage is a whiter white than the rest of the trim (remember that all of the siding is in Peppercorn)?"

Thank you.
