Wood dresser color/style advice (Room & Board)

Redoing a bedroom and hoping for some furniture advice!

Looking to get a nice dresser to maximize storage as this room has limited closet space. Will be replacing the chest in this photo and will be getting a 5x8 area rug under the foot of the bed (likely blue-ish).

I really like Room & Board's Berkeley dressers....

Two options that would work:

1. Storage Cabinet: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/bedroom/dressers/berkeley-dressers/090962?CHAR_090962_BERKELEY_COLL_HDWR=NS&CHAR_090962_BERKELEY_COLL_WOOD=WA

2. Five Drawer: https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/bedroom/dressers/berkeley-dressers/937388?CHAR_937388_BERKELEY_COLL_WOOD=WA&CHAR_937388_BERKELEY_COLL_HDWR=NS

My biggest question is whether the walnut version would look good given the hardwood floor color? These are original floors from 1900. I understand walnut may lighten (this is a north facing window so no direct sunlight).

The other color option I like is cherry w/charcoal stain, although I don't love it with the storage cabinet (just looks like a big dark box). The charcoal would be darker than the existing dresser, to give perspective.

Any advice? Or similar products? I haven't had much luck finding anything too similar from the other main retailers (C&B, PB, etc.) and the Amish options tend to be more expensive (my max is $2500).

Thank you!
