Thanks, everyone! The rocker (and its sister chair) belonged to my grandmother and we just refinished them. I like the idea of a day bed facing the living room but they may be too deep. I've been looking in antique stores for a while and haven't found anything the right proportions. Maybe my husband can make something if I can buy interesting carved legs (open underneath so the radiators aren't covered). And add a lot of pillows and cushion bottom. I would love to put a kilim on the floor but we currently have a litter box under the desk and it gets messy. Our sweet, old Mabel really needs that location so for now it stays. We also need better lighting. The overhead ceiling fan light isn't good for nighttime reading. And 2 of those chairs aren't comfortable which is primarily why the room doesn't get used.

Hi, would you happen to have pictures of the sunroom and measurements with a floor plan? Also, could you describe your style and colors you like? Will you be buying all new furniture or using some of what you have? If you are using what you have can you post pictures?

You've got a beachy color scheme so with art and some decorative items that either are collected by you or someone else from the beach, and I think you're there. I would add yellow and blue accents--sun, sand and water colors. Also some green for trees and beach grass. At this point you've got the colors of the beach on a grey rainy day! The plants look a little harsh with black pots, so I'd look for something softer, maybe woven basket style or softer color, and I'd look for a third one, staggered in sizes. Some plant that evokes the beach for you. In my case, the beaches are northern, so it would be something evergreen or something with broad leaves.
