GE Cafe microwave matte white

We recently installed new cabinets with the GE cafe matte white microwave in the island. After 2 days of use we hate having the microwave in this location. It’s way to low and very hard to read there. We’ve decided to have the cabinet maker build us a cabinet over the stove and we will need to purchase a new microwave with a range. We have the matching appliances on order but they are all coming in at different times through out the year to come. My question is where can you resell a barely used microwave? It’s a great microwave but so was it’s price. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This was a lesson well learned. Thank you.

Try Facebook Market Place. I sold a Bosch range within 24 hours. Show picture showing original manufacturers price. Considering all the delays in getting appliances today you might be able to recover most of your cost. Also note if not selling you can always adjust the price or post at “best offer”. Good luck

I have the GE Cafe range and would like the low profile microwave instead of the larger size Cafe one. Has anybody mixed the Kitchenaid White low profile with the GE Cafe? Wondering if the whites match or if they are too different for a mix and match. These are the two I’m looking at but I haven’t seen them together anywhere.

Ive been waiting just short of an entire year for the delivery of the top of their line Thermador appliances. I do not have a cooktop, my tower refrigerator, dishwasher or built in coffee maker. I got a shipment update for next week for most, and april for the cooktop. Just so you know, I had shipment alerts in November, December and January for everything. The tower freezer did get delivered in December. I tell you this because no matter what decent appliances you order, i it’s ts going to be a long time for delivery. I dont know about GE but Thermador is just pushing their appliances just telling people there is a 6-8 month covid delay. Its closer to a year. They also have a problem sourcing parts for the induction cooktops from China. The sourcing problems are probably the same throughout all brands. Good luck

@4parkers was the cafe microwave that was too hard to read a cafe built-in, countertop but in a cavity on the island, or the cafe drawer microwave?
