Need help with grout for Soft Teal backsplash

Wendy A

We recently remodeled our kitchen, and I chose the most beautiful soft teal tile in 3x6 to have installed in a herringbone pattern. It is Crossville Cursive for those curious. The installer used a 3/16 grout width, with a soft white (not bright) grout, and the outline around the tiles is very distinct. We are going to have the tile re-done, using 1/16th grout spacers this time, but I would really like for the grout lines to blend into the tile. I am worried that a gray grout will not give us the right look. I called the tile manufacturer (the designers at the tile shop are not much help), and they suggested that possibly Maipei Flexcolor 3D may work. I really don't know. Would reducing the grout space be enough, or do we need a different grout color as well? It is so hard to find a grout that may blend in. Please help me get this right! Thanks!
