Wanting to Start Home Embroidery & gifts business
Comments (3)Hi there; I just found this fantastic forum. I do embroidery and sell from my home and it is starting to work very well. I do a lot of my selling at Markets but now people are starting to call me for things. I have a Singer for the hard work and a Janome 9700 for the embroidery. I really love the Janome and am starting to try a lot of new things on it. I recently got the Digitizer Software and hopefully will be learning it shortly....See MoreNeed ideas for high school graduation party/gift ideas
Comments (6)I gave both of my kids a grad party when they graduated from HS. Both were essentially the same. Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. Lots (LOTS) of munchies - chips, dips, veggies, cookies, brownies, cheese, that sort of thing. No activities were planned. I invited my close friends, and they invited their friends. I served wine for the adults, cokes for the kids. Everyone sat around munching & schmoozing and a good time was had by all. Simple. For gifts, I recommend things that have to do with the college they will be going to (for those who are going). T-shirt, sweat shirt, rug for dorm room, blanket, etc, with college logo. If they are going away to another city, books with information on that city. Mostly my kids got checks for gifts, but a few people gave them what I just named above and they liked those gifts a lot....See MoreTeacher gift idea

Comments (4)Burgeon and Ball, also UK made, makes some nice shears and secateurs. I got some blue secateurs and they are really comfortable. A really handy garden apron I got was made by Bradley's tannery UK. I put my pruner sanitizer bottle, plant ties, pruner etc in this while I'm pruning. http://www.annabeljames.co.uk/Mobile/MBSCProduct.asp?pdtid=12031186 So I noticed that the apron wasn't big enough to hold all the tools I need at one time so I found a garden tool tote made by picnic at ascot that I really liked. Plus, it was on sale so I liked that too. https://www.amazon.com/Picnic-Ascot-Gardening-Forest-Green/dp/B004ERKCGM Theres a crate and barrel one I liked too....See Morelegomom23
