Do they all have children? what about 'experience' gifts like tickets to local attractions?

They have kids of various ages living with them. Unfortunately they are spread out all over the US (one in Canada but I have a source for basket for them) I don't know that I would be able to figure out what to get for them locally.

Do you live near a Costco? Put your own baskets/giftbags together. There is a great deal at Costco right now on Albert Bichot 2017 Gevrey - Chambertin for $48, normally $80 and up in most places. Score 93!

:) I have to be honest - I don't really have the time to build my own and then ship them and I don't know the areas across the country the team members live in so I think finding local restaurants to each of them could be difficult.

I got a Tate's Cookie gift basket this year. It was the best gift basket we have ever rec'd, though to be honest it is too many sweets. However we have had guests and they have been plied with goodies.

I would love something not sweet, I wish someone would send me really good cheese. Or smoked oysters. I also love really good, pretty chocolates, like these from Ragged Coast Chocolates which are TDF

Of most gift baskets we receive, at least 25% of it goes right in the trash. Mostly because it doesn't taste good, but sometimes it’s just not something we eat. Are you able to send a Visa gift cards so people can spend it how they want? Then they can buy a thing, an experience or use it on necessities.

My favorite holiday gift when I was working was one VP who gave everyone a gorham sterling silver snowflake ornament. I suppose that might not work depending on workers' religions, though the snowflakes are pretty generic.

I e received a couple of zingermans basketss & gifts. Some stuff i enjoyed more than other.

i was shocked at how good the gingerbread coffee cake is. you could give them several months of coffeecake of the month. that way not all the plenty lands at once.

the high flier coffee is quite good also. maybe combine 3 months of coffee and coffeecake.

I used to get a gift certificate each year for 150 or 200 to a local spa. It was a luxurious spa and I loved going there. They did massages, facials, manis and pedis etc. Everyone loved them.

I think giving a really nice bottle of champagne is a great idea for those who drink it. Also you could add a decanter or something from crate and barrel or Williams Sonoma.

I have to disagree with the majority, as I think alcohol or accoutrements that are for alcohol are typically inappropriate to give to employees at the holidays or anytime. For fun basket ideas, consider the Vermont Counrty Store, they have tons of sweet and savory treats, many of which are throwbacks and old-timey items like ribbon candy, imported hard candy, cheeseballs, etc. Giving some throwback stuff might be a fun conversation starter with older folks at the holidays too.

I am in the same boat. I usually do an extravagant dinner, but with COVID I had to switch things up last year and this. Last year I did a gift set of olive oils and vinegars from Brightland. It seemed to go over well. This year I am considering sending some cheeses from Jasper Hill Farm. I had read good things about their gift baskets in this article from Wirecutter, which also has some other food gift ideas.
