Furniture Arrangement Help Please :)
Comments (4)Beautiful sofa. Can you move the old sofa to the den? Consider moving the gray credenza to the wall where the mirror is and moving the TV to that wall and lower. Then you could have some art of the fireplace and a better view angle. A rug is needed to ground the space. I like the chairs in this inspiration picture but two swivel chairs would be good in your room also. The mirror reminds me of your mirror. I like the small round table for you and/or some c-tables. You will need some patterned/textured throw pillows, too....See MoreSmall living room with front door-need furniture arrangement help!
Comments (13)I wouldn't do that fireplace surround. It's jus not a good look w/the type room/decor you have. try it elsewhere. try craigslist and similar sources for rugs, tables, shelving. as for the room layout, for the wall that's next to the doorway, and to the right of window (pic #3 up top) what if you did some cool shelving or book cases? I'd also look into doing some sort of shade or blind instead of those bulky drapes. This is a simple layout you could copy. a larger sofa w/a chaise would work for that room better than your two sofas. if doing a tv, try a shallow console and mount the tv to the wall. you can do a 'coffee table' by utilizing an ottoman or something similar. this type of sofa against the large windows would work out better. notice the blinds, nice contrasting paint color on the walls, colorful rug, potted plants. same layout. Imagine your windows are behind the sofa. shallow shorter shelving on the opposing wall is great for kids toys and books. mount tv. fabric ottoman for coffee table. neutral rug....See MoreFurniture arrangement help for rectangular living/dining room are
Comments (25)Update on my living room: Thank you so much for the suggestions on the previous pictures. It helped me tremendously to get an idea of what I have done so far. I just received my sofa after 5 months of patiently waiting. This was the hardest part. I'd really appreciate your ideas for this living room/ diningroom. We need to add accent chairs, coffee table, console table/a built-in shelf for the tv. I took everyone's advice here and our tv will go to the opposite wall from the sectional sofa. I'm struggling with the color scheme for the decor, accent chairs, accessories, side table, etc for the coffee table I really liked to have a nesting round, but I'm not sure if it would be too big for the space we have. Since we have a live edge dining table, it's difficult for me how to choose other furniture pieces. ps For the dining table I bought 4 chairs and was thinking I'll include two different color chairs. I had to return one char and keep three because two chairs were not fitting on both longer sides of the table. So, I decided to get a bench for the empty side instead. I hope my explanation is clear and not vague or confusing. Thank you in advance....See MoreBedroom Layout/ Furniture Arrangement Help Needed
