olecranon bursitis anyone?
Comments (3)If you googled olecranon bursitis, then you know that there are several possible causes. Since this problem is six or more weeks old you can't be sure you did not have a bite or something causing a break in the skin allowing bacteria to enter the area. If that is the case then you need to go the the doctor to be sure as you can not get antibioticw OTC and you will need them to clear up any infection. In any case, the doctor will probably drain the bursa which will relieve the pain and also give him fluid to test for bacteria. In other words ... go to the doctor....See MoreHave you had a rotator cuff tear or shoulder tendonitis/bursitis?
Comments (43)So much like my story! I'm right handed and it's the right shoulder of course. I've been fastening my bra around my waist also. I'm also a side sleeper and I sleep on the bad shoulder, but in a position where it doesn't hurt, and on an extremely soft pillow. I tried sleeping on my left side with my arm propped just a bit. but it's just too painful. Plus, if I sleep on my good side, pulling up the covers with my bad shoulder is almost impossible! It doesn't matter what side I sleep on, when I wake up the arm won't move because it seems to freeze. It takes a few minutes for it to move again. If I got a dollar for everytime I say "Ouch!" during the day I'd be rich! lol. For now I'm going to take it day by day and wait until after the new year to make a decision. Thank you for explaining what you went through. Just remember, if you ever need a medical test done, let the tech know in advance about your shoulder. :)...See MoreInstalling a whole house water filtration system w/booster pump
Comments (8)No, I don't think anyone can help you. This is a complete mess. A 3 stage 20" filter for a whole house - nope. It will be clogged in no time and for no good reason. Your toilets don't need filtered water. Neither does your laundry. Neither does most anything else. UV treatment - absolutely un-needed for city water. It's chlorinated and biologically safe with residual disinfecting to boot unless you have regular "boil water" warnings because of pipe ruptures. Very hard water: How hard is it in grains per gallon? Get a Hach test kit. Don't waste your time with anything using color matching - they are worthless. "Highly treated with chemicals" Really? Like what? Exactly? Do you know or just guessing? Everything you touch, breath, drink, eat, drive, smoke, smell is made with a bunch of chemicals. You are a bunch of chemicals. It's not city water that scares me, it's well water that never gets tested and never gets treated that scares me. City water is regularly tested. So look - forget all the junk that you have read on all of the water treatment websites. Seriously, what you are putting in your head is far more polluted than your water. -If you have hard water, get a water softener - we are talking ion exchange (salt) - there is no other kind of water softener. You need to know exactly how hard that water is in grains per gallon - let us know your test results. -if you want to remove chlorine and some VOC's and generally want things to smell and taste better a carbon filter on your drinking water is the way to go. Your toilets don't need carbon filtered water. If your municipality is using chloramine, that requires catalytic carbon. There's a very nice full-flow filter that's NSF certified to do that - again for your drinking water. -If you have nitrates, lead or other issues that are not removed by carbon, then a reverse osmosis system for drinking water may be called for. They waste a lot of water and require maintenance for a small amount of water... but they work. Ask your water supplier why you have 35 psi water ON AVERAGE. Because 30-35 is minimum. Don't guess, put a reliable pressure gauge and measure your static pressure when there's no water being used....See MoreSide effects from booster shot
Comments (38)Carol, I prefer never having to use text for anything, if there are other options, and the VAERS site did say that they recommended that people use desktop or laptop computers rather than phones or tablets. The PDF form that I downloaded seemed a bit buggy, as it kept telling me that certain questions were ESSENTIAL even after I had answered them fully. I had all the info on my vaccination, including the lot numbers for the Moderna, although I do not have that for the Pfizer. I might not bother reporting the Pfizer incident, but I did report it to my doctor, and he thanked me for that. I do think that it is important that reactions to the vaccines get logged, so that if other people have them, they will know that they are not the only ones. I did feel some validation when I read about other people having the same reactions that I did to both vaccines, and I do believe that the reactions I had are relatively rare. I do feel a lot better knowing that I have had the booster, and at least I'm not losing sleep!...See MoreBestyears
