Well I unfortunately, there is no wrong position between the center and the top of lower cabinets and the center and the bottom of upper cabinets in which to place pulls. This is something that needs to be explicitly discussed prior to drilling any holes. On furniture for example, lower doors often has centered pulls. Not practical in a kitchen of course, but there is unfortunately no "standard".

The door will have holes that will need to be filled and repainted if custom or if stock u will all new doors and drawers fronts.

I have never seen placement of hardware like you have on your doors. Either replace the doors so you will not see the holes when the hardware is correctly placed; or fill the holes with wood putty, sand the area when dry and repaint the doors. When I got my door hardware, my carpenter and I first discussed where he would place the hardware on the cabinets.

You can have him try to fill them, sand and paint again and see how they look. Because they are white painted cabinets it might work. But if you can even see a little bit of it, or you’re not happy, he needs to replace them. He messed up.

Secondly, who in their right mind would pick that particular placement? What are you supposed to do, get on your knees to open the lowers?

Often times people post mistakes here and I think they've being too picky. This is not one of those times.

(ETA - they may only need to have 1 hole filled. I'd rotate the handles 180 degrees in the current top hole. They should look much better in that position and that only leaves one hole - really far down, by the way. Perhaps a really good patch and fill will be fine, considering the hole left behind is at shin level....)

Good points, Patriceny. Swivel those around and they're okay with just one hole to fill that you'd have to lay on your belly to evaluate.

New doors. This is the worst

They need to pay for new doors and then maybe they'll remember to approve hardware placement with their clients in the future. Also, it appears there is no corner filler? Have you tried functioning these doors to confirm they will not damage each other when you open them?

Terrible mistake on the part of the amuature installer.. You need new doors, or refinish those.

You might get away with drilling one new top hole, spinning the handle, and filling the bottom hole. It's not at eye level.

No filler on the left side of the double door also caught my eye. You might get rubbing on the corner and/or hit the edge of the single door.

Update I ordered all new doors and they're gonna pay for it. They also messed up on all the drawers too ughh. Anyways thank you all for your input. This whole thing has been quite a nightmare.

It's great that they're taking responsibility, and of course they should. You can use the kitchen while waiting for the doors, right? You're almost done...almost...

Did you resolve this issue mentioned by Kristin Petro Interiors - “it appears there is no corner filler? Have you tried functioning these doors to confirm they will not damage each other when you open them?” I also noticed this and wondered if you are able to fully open the door in the corner.
