I like my first idea best as far as use of space. I know people say not to put toilets on an outside wall. We had one in our last house in Iowa, but we had 2X6 construction. I don't know how high your window is, but I'm guessing the toilet would fit under there. The shower would be 5 feet long or shorter if you want a wider space to get to the toilet. (kind of tight the way I have drawn). You could do a 5 and half foot long shower and do an angled door at the left end to allow room between the shower and toilet. The vanity would be about 7 feet long, unless you do a 60 inch vanity with a linen cabinet at the door. I would reverse entry door swing if you do that.. The second top right could work and you would still have a small closet. The bottom left plan would require waterproofing your front window. Hopefully someone will give you other ideas. The bottom right plan is bigger, but no closet. Each square equals 1 foot.

The very first thing you should do is find a fireplace/stove dealer within say, a 50 mile radius of your home. Not the local garden center or patio center who sells stoves in their off season. Someone who will sell and service them all year round. You want to look for a lifetime warranty if possible. A good shop can advise you on placement, the cost not only of the unit, but the chimney and installation as well.

A few people on the Home Decorating forum have used Sea Salt. You might want to post this on that forum and get their opinions. If you want to paint the bathroom a coordinating shade, SW suggests SW6203, Spare White, according to their website: Sea Salt

nice room..I especially love your dresser! as much as love chandeliers-no I wouldn't get one..what's your ceiling height? i might be wrong but they look 8 feet high(as ours do too)..given you usually need at least a foot of a chain for a chandelier/pendant not to look awkward-i wouldn't put it over a bed where people can for example..umm..sit up very abrupltly..or..jump on a bed when they see a ..umm..lizard?..in short you don't want to remember not to bang up your head every time. seating areas are different; they're used at daytime when we're more alert etc. Frankly if I'm mistaken and ceilings are 9 feet-also wouldn't do it. Art-would do..something no glass..like an oil painting..without a frame..not too heavy.. or wouldn't. looks nice at is i'd do it if I find something I love..I wouldn't look for a piece to have there just to have there, let's put it this way. (you can see I like to be prepared for all sorts of things)) you should see my purse..)) yes to taller lamps..I like yours btw..I have this personal thing against visual lines perfectly aligned though..I think also some more contrast either in color or material will look nice as for the bedding..well it needs to be something you love (do you have any preferences? more casual? more formal? solid? patterned? do you like to change sets and looks , or would you rather have a quilt/coverlet/comforter that's always there for example? you have many options with bedding. think what's more to your taste), plus two more regular pillows(or two bigger ones), plus one longer accent pillow-ideally..that is, if you like to read in bed for example. the best combination to me. that's personal of course. if you mostly sleep there you can keep it the way it's comfortable to you, more dialed down ..but do get plumpier pillows and one(max two if you like the idea) for an accent..and make it fun..cozy, textured...linen? velvet? something you'll enjoy too, to lean on etc.
