Comments (7)Guessing you're in the Texas Hill Country. If so they're likely to be Poverty Weed, (charming name huh?)Baccharis neglecta. There are other species but that's common in this area. Here is a link that might be useful: Baccharis neglecta...See MoreI would like to identify my succulents and know how to water them
Comments (6)Should be an echeveria, and it is very much stretching for sun (etiolated). You can trim it and restart the plant and put it at a brighter, sunny place so it will grow nicely and more compact. Watering depends on your soil, if you haven't repotted this before, chances are the soil is too heavy and water-retaining and your plants will be prone to root rot, so I would look into proper succulent soil mix on this forum, 50/50 perlite and cactus soil is a quick fix. If you get your soil sorted out, watering them every 7-10 days or 10-14 days should be adequate....See MorePlease help identify these succulents and how to care for them, please
Comments (5)is there drainage in that pot?? .. thats very important as to watering ... insert finger.. and do not water.. until its dry in there ... in my MI ... i would not put that shallow a pot in the sun ... excet for the fact that they are sedums.. and you can barely kill them if you wanted .. lol .. to simplify it.. they are full sun.. carp soil plants .. they live in my sand.. with no water after the first year ... and therein lies the rub to trying to make them a winter houseplant.. not enough sun.. and most likely the potting media will hold too much water ... ergo.. i would plant them out in fall ... in native soil.. and get rid of the media .. and i would separate the plants ... not plant the whole gob ... you could have a nice 2 or 3 foot square garden with them .. so start prepping the bed now.. and plant in fall ... and in a few years.. you can start planting them everywhere .. as they will multiply with abandon.. but not in a bad way ... and broken off part can be rooted.. and planted out.. often.. just sticking them in the ground ... ken...See MorePlease help identify this succulent!
Comments (8)Don't worry, I have 27-30 varieties of cacti and succulents in my windowsill at work (another 20 varieties in my home...I am addicted) and they have done great over the past 2 years with the soil mix that I prepare even in the small pots. No root rot except for one that I got because it was already dying in the store and I thought I might save it. Yes, the plant has grown slowly since I got it, mostly small new leaves out of the center of where there are existing leaves, however, I also do see two tiny leaves starting to poke out from the main stem. I can update when there is a visible difference overall....See Morewestes Zone 9b California SF Bay
