What are the rules around matching lamps

I have a 231 ft² family room that is basically our living space. We have a Wool rug on the floor that is from a swedish rug company Nordic knots, some old IKEA sofas, a couple old mid-century lane rhythm tables, and a lamp from HEM in the left corner and in the far corner a lamp from schoolhouse that is mid-century and style but I'm going to be moving to another room. I'm also going to be getting rid of two of the side tables because they're too matchy matchy, And eventually the sofas. Those will be replaced with something new.
Anyways I have this hem alphabeta lamp and I want a second lamp to put opposite it that's a floor lamp and ties in. There is no overhead lighting in this room. Based on what I know works I need something in the 1600 lumen range. I'm looking for something that will match the hem alphabeta lamp. I'm thinking based on what the hem lamp is that it will be sort of a reading lamp in profile, Scandinavian modern (which is what I'm going for) and similar coloring.
What are the rules for matching lamps? I've looked around and it doesn't seem to be as straightforward as some other objects. For the Scandinavian style the walls will be painted white or off-white in my color palette is going to be grays and whites and light greens and such. I'm thinking about keeping the walnut table in the middle but otherwise I think the wood will be light in toned to contrast that. All contextual stuff to think about with this lamp choice.
