Hello and Welcome One way to coordinate colors between rooms is to ensure that they have a similar or the same undertone, and then make sure that they have the same LRV. I can't tell from my monitor what the undertone of the weekend getaway is, maybe yellow? If so, you can look at colors with a yellow undertone to coordinate with weekend getaway. This is just my take, I'm sure lots of the folks on this forum have other ways of choosing a coordinating color! Some people seem to have a knack for it! It's a beautiful color! I wish you the best finding the perfect paint for your house....I played it safe also when building 6 yrs. ago and went with Ivorie thru out the downstairs public rooms and bedroom bath. Later changed the DR to restrained gold and the bedroom to mannered gold. then just this past Oct. changed the LR to raspberry red. I think you get more comfortable in your home the longer you are there and are willing to take more risks. Now I wish I had painted Mannered gold in the FR which is a 22 ft. ceiling room...ha! The Ivorie is staying for now until DH decides to hire a painter....LOL! But go for it if you are building....once blinds are up, furniture is in , pictures and art are hung.....the paint colors tone down. I especially love the mannered gold. It made the tones in our bedroom furniture seem much richer. I left the bathroom Ivorie since gold isn't my color in clothing shades and was afraid it might make us look sallow or jaundiced in the bathroom. We had thought of wallpapering it buy life gets in the way sometimes and projects get put on hold. But the deeper shades on that paint strip, restrained gold & mannered gold are very pretty colors. Fun comforter. How does it "read" at a distance? I see some blue but more of a periwinkle on my monitor. Some paint companies have really good computers (or actually people) that can actually match it if you can take in a piece of the set that has the blue you want for your walls.

I just painted my dining room BM Balboa Mist...I love it. It looks good in daylight and with the lights on. It is as if you are looking into a cloud. I chose it from BM's warm grays. I may be repeating myself but it looks gray, not greenish or bluish or beige-ish.
