I really only want 2 for whatever reason it just looks less cluttered to me. Plus, I want the focal to be on our vent hood above the cooktop which will be centered on the wall behind the island. If I had 3 lights it would be right in the center of the hood. Hopefully that makes sense. Lol

The pendants will look good. The ones you had were definitely too small, but what you’ve chosen will look good. It make take a little getting adjusted to them once installed. You’re lighting over dining table is a nice style but it’s on the smaller scale for dining lighting. You may find that you want to enlarge that fixture too after the new island pendants. ....just a thought.

It already looks like an airport runway that doubles as a naval blockade. A bunch of lights will only emphasize that. Cut that down into an actual comfortable table in the breakfast area, and a work island. Then youll have some proportionality, and can do some mini pendants over the island and 1 larger fixture over the table in the breakfast area. Theres a whole lot of other changes that need to happen with this beyond lighting and separating cojoined twins.
