Which option is better?
Comments (7)Neither of those links worked for me but I was able to look at some of the stuff at the bhg site to get some idea of what was in the plans. I think the first thing you need to think about is what exactly do you mean by low maintenance? All gardens have maintenance in some degree. Perennials, even relatively low maintenance ones, will need deadheading and varying degrees of tidying up, division in future years and so forth. Why are you focused on perennials? (vs. evergreens for example) For the flowers/color? Would annuals in front of smaller evergreens work better? Annuals would give you color; would still need some maintenance re deadheading; but are simpler in that you just rip them out at frost and start over next year so you don't have to learn as much plant-specific long term care. Perennials are certainly rewarding and are my favorite plants but annuals may offer an easier introduction to growing flowers if you're new at it and uncertain about it....See More2 options for new lounge suit. Comments (1)Go with the most comfortable but leather will last longer and wear better. Take a look at Omnia or Palliser for similar styles to the microfiber one you like. Omnia is all top grain and Palliser offers all leather or a leather/vinyl option. By the look of your empty room you can go with most anything....See MoreWhich size light is better?
Comments (5)Since it's in the corner I'd go with a bit narrower mirror and smaller light..but then I'm traumatized from the measurement mistakes in our remodel..these drywalls sometimes end up being an inch or two closer than they should...)) Or are yours built already? It's also better to have a flexibility for side lights if you decide on them later at some point..not only because of the make up, it's just more flattering..usually.....See MoreWhich recessed lighting option looks better?
Comments (14)Our room is about 8x10, but it’s a mystery - we currently have two WAC light bars (2000 lumens each) and 4 Lithonia retrofits at 800 or 900 lumens each all 3000K and 90+ CRI and on dimmers, so it should be more than enough, but the light in there is just bad, so bad that I don’t even like being in there. My hope is that raising the ceiling (fingers crossed that works), doing a different layout of recessed lighting and moving the light bars from above the mirrors to vertical on the sides will help. The ceilings are about 7.5 ft and there’s something about the light hitting the top of your head from such a short distance that is all sorts of wrong....See MoreStacey
