IMO yes it's going to be too white. Not to mention, you have to get the white backsplash just right to look good with both the counter and the cabinets. My suggestion would be to incorporate some color -- you can go soft or bold, whichever you prefer, your countertop is pretty subdued. If you're afraid of color, at least consider a grey splash that is the same tone as the grey in the countertop; here again, you can go soft and light or something more saturated or deeper in color.

This is one of my favorite white kitchen photos. The soft green adds interest, and notice how it plays beautifully against both the white cabinets and a countertop that is similar to yours. If you're not partial to green, there are soft aquas or greys that would look splendid, too.

Some people don’t tire of fresh white all over.

First of all you’ll have accents around that will break it up.
Like a red mixer would be cool.
Or some wooden boards
Flowers
Plants.

And even your hardware.

If you want to stay white I’d go with something that has some texture.
So maybe a she‘kk shaped tile.

Picket tile.

Finger tile.

Clay/ceramic tile.

What about the Chloe tiles?

If you go with color I wouldn’t do gray.

Unless you go with something white with gray marbling. But I think that might fight with the countertops
