I think maybe larger pillows and in a neutral like white? But I’m not an expert! You just can’t see them so I think maybe a larger neutral since the others are decorative and bold

If it were my bed, I'd add a standard-sized (20x26?) pillow in either dark blue or green, centered behind the yellow accent pillow. Maybe a geometric print, but tone-on-tone without a lot of contrast, so that it comes across as more of a subtle texture type thing instead of a print.

I like the blue on the throw pillows with the green lamps, but the yellow/gold curtains throw the room off. If you can't change the curtains because they're new or custom I think you should rethink the blue. Or rethink the green lamps.

This is a different idea but I do not use my sleeping pillows on the bed. During the day they are put on a high closet shelf (but one I can reach) and I use inexpensive pillows that are very springy and thick (and nothing like the sleeping ones) to fill my shams. That way, the decorative ones are always ready to be put on the bed--and they don't sag the way my sleeping ones would.

I am just amazed at how much people are willing to move pillows around to get a look for the room during the time nobody is there!!

Sleeping pillows + another set behind for reading in bed. Nothing to switch on and off, decor via quilt or bedspread, change occasionally. Who has space for piling all these pillows at night??

I dont like removing covers from sleeping pillows and don’t have storage space for extra pillows.

yes the current bolster is pretty small. I would like the look of a bed-width bolster in the white matelasse, but this wouldn’t work well in tandem with your blue coverlet.

I’d use basic white or blue cases on the sleeping pillows so they look like they belong but aren’t ’fancy’

This simple material might blend with white bedding, and twill-type casual curtains... are others of course, not chunky knit, etc.. though

2 large ones, with 1 of yours in the center seems enough, because the tablecloth has prominent pattern. The edging might be like your curtains.
