sliding doors question

We are putting sliding doors in for our shower and I’m puzzled about the handles. It is a double sliding door (both doors slide) - where should the handles go? Right now there’s one on the outside of one door and one in the inside of the other door. I can’t imagine a scenario where someone wouldn’t need to close the door, either from the inside or the outside, without having to do it without a handle. In these cases do people just push the glass with their hands? For example, if I open by the shower head using the outside door handle, then when I get in I’d need to slide it shut with my hand since the handle is on the outside. Maybe this is normal, I just wasn’t sure. Most pictures I look at have handles on the outside only, so the same problem exists. Does anyone have a sliding shower door that can let me know how that works for them?
