First, what are you putting in your soap dispenser (SD)? Hand soap or dish detergent? [I'm assuming dish detergent based on your description, but I could be wrong!] Remember that whatever you put in the SD will be "fixed"...you won't be able to move it around to where you want to use it. You will need to either move the item (hand or dish) to the SD to receive the soap ... or ... pump the soap/detergent directly into the sink wherever the SD is located. If you put dish detergent in your SD, then I recommend putting it over the bowl you will be using the detergent from the most...in your case, probably the left, large bowl. If hand soap (like I did), put it on the side that works most "naturally" for you. Do you have a hand soap bottle at your current sink? If so, where do you put it most of the time? That's probably the natural place for you to locate your SD. I put mine on the left (over the large bowl) b/c I found that was what worked naturally for me. In our old kitchen, I always kept the hand soap bottle on the left...personally, I find it easier to pump the soap into my left hand so my right hand is free to control the faucet (on/off, temperature). I'm right handed, btw. How do you find it most comfortable to use it? I did not put dish detergent in my SD b/c I like to be able to place the detergent where I want it in a pot/pan and to use it in both bowls. For all of this, YMMV! Here's a pic of my sink setup... Alku05, Yes, we will be twins. I absolutely love the Fliorano faucet, it is beautiful. If you don't mind, would you pls post another pic. Also, I was told by a salesman that carried this faucet that he went to a show/convention in May 07 and was told Brizo would be switching over to a magnetic retractor for the sprayer. This would eliminate leaking and provide a tighter fit when retracted. I ordered mine and was told this feature has not yet come about (mine will be installed this weekend--but I'm really hoping the person is wrong--but I went ahead and purchased this because I just love the tulip look). Can you tell me how long you've had yours and how frequent you use the sprayer, do you have any leakage from the sprayer and does it retract easily? Are you happy with yours? Thanks, I can't wait. Do you like your current sink? Does it look like this picture (from Elkay's website ECGR5322L2_RND)? Maybe you could undermount your existing sink, which is way cheaper than the "exorbitant" price for your "ideal" sink?? Maybe I ask too many questions??? lol Or, buy a non-drainboard sink (*far* cheaper) and put runnels in your counter. Lots of links on this topic, here's one from today, listed below. Edit: the responses to carolml's post are on the "don't do it" side, so please consider (or even better, post!) what your countertops will be. The only low-divide I see on the Galaxy site is a 50/50. I would call the 866 toll-free number and ask. They were helpful when I called them two years ago. You didn't ask, but if you will have a prep sink I suggest getting as big a single bowl as space allows.
