what do I do to fix column after removing porch railings
Comments (3)How high off the ground is the porch floor? Most cities/urban counties have building codes requiring porches more than 18" or so high to have railings. The height is different in different places. You may have to replace the railing. If not, wood filler for the holes, sander for the rough spots, primer and paint....See MoreHelp. Comments (7)Beth & Jan’s Navy would be beautiful! Bronze would be interesting! Can u do a bronze with out getting too “orangey”? Thinking that may go well with the nailheads on the leather chairs... Comments (1)Use anything you like as long as it has good UV protection. Using stain on vertical surfaces you will get a long life since wear and tear are minimal... roll it on a few coats just make sure to prep the wood prior, i.e sand, etc and finish it will last a long time....See MoreIdeas About What To Do About Height Of Front Porch?

I think a railing along the front would be nice, so someone doesnt accidentally step to close to the end, and fall off. Thats far more dangerous, than your steps. More so, because, the porch is fairly narrow....See MoreToronto Veterinarian
