Paint color for north bathroom with brown and white tile?

My bathroom is large (for a Boston apartment at least), north facing, with one shower window and tall ceilings. The previous tenants had it painted with Behr ”White Lie” which just feels cold and looks very purple. I want to paint it something that warms the space up and makes it feel more cozy and less sterile but am having trouble because there is white tile on the walls, brown tile on the floor, and honey oak cabinetry (I can’t change this since I’m a renter). I would prefer to stay in the realm of neutrals. Any ideas? I attached photos showing it in both natural autumn midday light and with incandescent lighting.

Northern light has a blue tint. Northern light also tends to wash out pale colors, so you are better off with more color. Use warm colors with gold, orange or red tints. An article by Benjamin Moore Paints recommended Wheeling Neutral as a color for northern light. Below is their color visualizer photo of this color. My photo program says the color has a gold tint. The window trim is Mountain Peak White which also has a gold tint.

Regardless, of what anyone recommends you should buy samples to paint on foamboard. That way you can move the boards around the room to see how they look in light and shadow. Don't forget to view the colors under interior lights. IMO, bathrooms are best lit with warm white bulbs. Daylight bulbs give off blue light and are harsh to skin tones.

Go get a fistful of creams and whites on paint strips and find matches to the wall tile. Then get sample pots of those to try in your light.

Both of my bathrooms are green. The master has tan granite-looking countertops and the walls are painted BM Aura in Metropolitan. Very spa-like. My daughter's bathroom is painted BM Quiet Moments. That color is very nice, as well.

White blush doesn’t look like much of a change. And, do you know the undertone is green and First Snow Fall undertone is blue? Why not choose a darker blue for the walls?

Be careful to try out some samples, we have a north side bathroom and every paint I tried turned blu-ey or dingy. Gorgeous colors in other parts of the house, but not in the north bathroom. Our tile was marble also, with a dark gray floor and accents. Good luck!

The second bathroom with white vanity is already leaning in farmhouse direction. The first bathroom, maybe bring in another light fixture over vanity (I can’t really tell what is there now, too much glare in photo). Plus it looks like mirror or mirrors will be installed, so you can bring some more of your style in there. If you wanted lighter walls in that bathroom, maybe something like Benjamin Moore”s Ballet White or Swiss Coffee. You can try some samples. I like BM’s Natura line. You could also consider painting walls in that bathroom a light pastel blue. Other than that, both are very nice bathrooms as they are. Maybe accept them for that.
