When I was trying before the "Search" box at the top of the page was the Houzz search box. Now I have Search in GardenWeb. I'm not sure how it happened.

the proper format for a google search, to restrict results to pages on THIS site, would be ikea pantry site:ths.gardenweb.com (because "ths.gardenweb.com" is the URL. Use the actual URL of any other site for similar searches restricted to one particular site. Put the search term in quote marks "ikea pantry" if you want to search for that specific sequence of words. Otherwise, the search is for pages that have both words anywhere on the page, not necessarily in the same order and not necessarily together as the search line shows)

In this forum - the one you want to search - at the top of the page before your initial post and next to the Houzz logo is a search box. Type in the topic you want to search.....as you type, the heading changes from a general Houzz search to the specific forum search (as well as various other options that drop down underneath). This had me puzzled for awhile also, until I figured it out by accident :-))

IIRC (from just a couple of days ago, when life was relatively normal ;), in the area that now says 'Your topics' and 'Explore Topics', top left, it previously had Garden forums, or Home forums, or All Discussions as options, and clicking on a button brought up the list of forums, so in that respect it hasn't changed. It would have been nice if Houzz had included some instructions ahead of time--a lot of angst could have been avoided.
