I want to use "Palest of Lemon", a Farrell Calhoun color, for my north facing, VERY cool light living room. I know most of you aren't familiar with that brand - it's a regional brand that is high quality. The LR has very cool natural light - including a Solatube, which gives off a blue light. During the day on my painted big swatch board it looks great, but at night with the warmer artificial lights, it shows it's green undertone. I'm wondering if installing cooler temperature bulbs might help. I wouldn't think blue would cancel green, but maybe I'm wrong. If there's another very light color from SW or BM with a LRV in the 60's or 70's that reads tan with no green undertone, please do let me know - I'll have them copy it! I really need to use this paint brand, as it is a VERY good regional brand and my budget allows for it. I don't have any furniture in there yet. I know I should wait till furniture is put in but we just cannot do that. I have taupe sofas and navy recliners. Nothing green in décor will be placed in there. This is just showing greenish with only the brown wood floors.

I moved some things around. The original lightbulbs were LED 2700. I haven’t tried LED’s in a different range yet, but I did take some of the green art and accessories away and experimented with adding cooler blues to the mix. I’m happy with the result.

Hi - these top two colours have an LRV of 80+, the bottom colour 78+. But remember LRV only does one job. It tells us how much light is reflected back from the surface of a colour. Value is a more useful indicator of how light a colour appears. LRV is no indicator of potential warm/cool attributes of a colour. (Hue Family location gives us a reasoned likelihood of that.) LRV does not tells us how colourful, or neutral, or greyed a colour is. (Chroma does that.)

You have very different light in the LR compared to the entry , trees for instance casting some green into the space and one caot is not enough to kill the pink underneath Do 2 coats on the wall that seems to be the most different , make sure all the lighting is IMO LED 4000k but that would involve changing that light in the hallway to something much bigger and able to light that whole space.
