what color is the tub? toilet? Pictures of the vanity & countertop would help

but if you're doing a pink sink, I would not keep the blue wall color.

Carrara is a very cool/bluish marble. Bamboo is very warm w/yellow tones.

your best bet is to wait until everything is installed so you can see how it looks together. Then decide on a wall color.

(Instead of a carrara marble top, why don't you pick a pink marble? it would look better w/the bamboo and the pink sink.

Sorry. Toilet and tub are white, tile around tub is white, floor is white vinyl. I will post a picture later this morning when I get home. I mistakenly thought this would be simple enough to skip pictures.

you're asking us to pick paint color based on your description. have no idea what the lighting is like in your bathroom, or the tones of your choices.

there are at least 100 diff shades of pink sinks. This is why we ask for pictures.

if I'm being honest, stick w/a white sink. why on earth would you want a random pink sink if your tub/toilet are white?

and if you must have the pink sink, then do a white vanity. or a pink vanity. but all of your choices seem to fight w/each other. I have carmelized bamboo cabinets and they are very yellow based. carrara clashes w/it and so does that pink color

(Hard no on the Icing on the Cake color, unless you pick a white vanity and white sink. or a pale blue sink)

Sorry, but the idea of a pink sink, blue walls and a white vinyl floor makes me think of a little girl’s birthday cake. TBH I’m not a huge fan of the use of pastel colors in general, but in the end it’s your bathroom, and you should choose what you love.

It's going to be a pink sink because that's what we already have, and my husband and oldest daughter begged me to keep it. Current sink is chipped though. I went on Ebay to buy them a new pink sink. They both hate change--probably the reason they are lobbying to keep blue walls. Bamboo vanity and marble countertop are our designer's recommendations. The vanity is ordered, so we're stuck with that, although I could paint it. The countertop, I could still change. I will think about that.

Honestly, I don't really like any of the new components, especially the pink sink. But I already folded on that. Wall color is the one place I can try to improve things. Husband and daughter agreed to get rid of the blue paint if Houzz members said we should. This is a small add-on to a major kitchen remodel. I'm not asking our designer about paint because 1) I think it's outside of what we contracted for; and 2) she's trying to solve a last-minute kitchen issue so we can start construction on time.

Attaching photos. The sink in the photo is not staying. New sink is the paler Bridal Pink type color. Room faces south and gets good natural light, also bright light from the vanity fixture (which will also change eventually). Agree completely that a white sink would be better. I don't want to salvage the vanity--upgrading it is the main point of the other changes. We've got one main bathroom for 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We really need a vanity with more drawers, to help organize everyone's stuff. Tacking this on to the kitchen remodel was my only way to make this happen. Even if we end up with a bad color, the functional improvement will be worth it. And I can paint this vanity too, just like I painted the existing fir vanity.

Beth, thank you for all the helpful advice. For now I'll just get the family adjusting to the idea the blue will go away. I can paint everything white when the new vanity goes in, and then pick the "right" color when we redo the tile and the floor.

well I'd hate to see you pay more for the bamboo vanity when getting a pre painted white one is so much easier (and cheaper)

The bamboo could work, just get a white quartz top (easier to keep clean. marble etches and stains) and beg them for the white sink.

Thanks, the pictures are helpful. And the quartz is a great idea! We're putting white quartz in the kitchen already. We should have a remnant big enough for the bathroom. That saves money, which always convinces my husband.

The vanity is already ordered and in production, so we will find a way to make it work. For the sink, I'm just glad it's a drop in. We can live with it for a few years and then swap it out for a white sink when I can't take it anymore. Really appreciate your advice and great pictures!

Search for a retro patterned shower curtain that will tie together the pink and bamboo and also give you ideas for the wall color.

Just circling back to say thanks again to @Beth H. :. Your advice was really helpful in thinking out our options. Since we need to do more serious updating to the bathroom in a few years (new tub, tile, floor, and supply & waste plumbing), we're going to install the new vanity and the stupid pink sink, and a new black formica countertop. When we have the money for the bathtub job, we will swap out for a quartz countertop and white sink, and buy components that all work together.
