Exterior paint short list

I’m looking for a fairly light and bright exterior Greige by Sherwin Williams- something not too cold gray but not too tan, that is obviously not white, has some contrast with white trim, but is a bright color. I’ve had a hard time finding exteriors online that have the paint color listed. I was thinking Accessible a beige but I believe that almost looks white on exteriors. The house will be north facing and on a slightly wooded lot. I won’t be able to decide until clearing is done and framing is done but I’m trying to make a “short list” of what sample cans to buy. So far based on pictures, sw colonnade gray is the look I’m going for but I want others to try since it may not look like the pictures on my lot. A few others I’ll look at are Agreeable gray, anew gray, and balanced beige - but give me all your favorites!

IMO like paint for an interior you need to see the house before choosing extrior colors and I guess my question is why beige or gray at all.The pic you posted is BORING color choice for out in the woods . Why not look a grayed/ greens or almost anything but beige or gray.To be honest I need to see the style at least of your house too.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting I want something timeless and im scared of regretting a color but I actually had been considering greyed greens so maybe I should go that route. Here is our exterior, and a color combination I also like. This shows SW acacia haze, with Aesthetic white trim snd Inkwell shutters. I think I would do a warm & dark wood stained front door with these colors. What do you think? Any other grayed greens I shoukd sample? And im not sure how Arsthetic White is for trim but dont like bright whites with greens, so any other ideas for trim snd shutter colors welcome!

NHB - your mom was there a BIT ahead of me! But my brother was there a year behind Ann Margaret and went on a double date with her - does that count??!! cyn427 - so we're a little short, you're a little short..... I could live in half of that house, how 'bout you? ;-) hhireno I have boxwoods and never noticed a smell. My guess is that specific varieties may be more pungent than others. There are only 2 or 3 types that are commonly used in our zone and with our specific soil - most can't survive our winters or alkaline clay soil. kswl I'm not nearly as bothered by the decor as you are. Some of it is a bit stuffy and I'd want to lighten up the window treatments for sure, but the bullion fringe used on the sofas and chairs fits the room decor and purpose - none of it fits MY lifestyle but that's a whole different issue! But decor isn't what will or won't sell that house. mtnredux I'll try and remember to follow that house, but they will get within spitting distance of that price, I'm sure - taxes dropped significantly so it's a real bargain now. I would try to convince her to 'uninsist'. That seems to blend into its site in its earthy color. A plus to my eye - And I am also in the PNW. She needs landscaping. My own ground here on the coast is too wet for spading and preparing new beds in January. And please note that the house behind and to the left are white. This house also white would be redundant.

I like the grey color in Groveraxle's latter pictures. I was working on a similar entrance, but that flares to the drive. it has to do that in order to look welcoming. Don't care for the contrasting panels below windows. Would make the soffit, gutter, fascia, added header trim above garage door, and entrance trim all white. Regardless of whether it's kosher, I'd have to add big brackets and some bottom trim to the overhang. Not showing any landscaping in this pic ... other than, seriously, trim up the tree and get rid of low-hanging limbs and branches.

I think PC's suggestion of a gray/green would be nice, but I also like Colonnade and Acacia Haze. Any of those would look good with black shutters and white trim. We're going through this right now, and Colonnade was on our list of choices. We ended up going with Repose Gray because I wanted to keep the exterior light. I think Colonnade's LRV is 53 and Repose is 58. The sample cans of paint and/or 12" square "peel and stick" swatches from Samplize were helpful.

I absolutely love this look! The houzz post says the body is BM cypress green and rolling hills but i only see one color. Which do you think the main lap siding is of those two colors? Shutters are deep indigo and trim is mannequin cream.

I’m really liking the Acacia Haze and inkwell combo but nay wsnt slightly lighter after comparing to the LRV of the colors in this picture. I love the creamy trim but budget wise I’m terrified of doing anything besides white due to gutters and windows so keep thinking SW pure white may be the safest
