Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

Florida Exterior Paint Color Help

Hello Houzz Community,

I am in the process of updating our 1980's era winter home in Florida. To date we have installed a new roof, fascia and soffit, mechanicals, plumbing and new fence. Within the next couple of weeks the gables will be replaced with Hardie Board which the triangular perimeters on all gables will be trimmed out in 4" wide white and then the majority of the gable with horizontal lap boards. Currently the house is a dull beige and the front is brick which from what I can tell has never been painted thankfully.

I have been exploring colors and specifically I have been looking at SW055 Light French Gray with the gable interiors SW gauntlet gray. I have also like SW on the rocks gray. I would like to acquire some honest opinions and see what the community thinks.

Some of the pictures linked are as the house sits and some are a little older. However, I think you will see the picture and hopefully have some great ideas.

I am not sure of color but that awning needs to go use solar shades for light and heat control, what are all those wires around that window? IMO gray and Florida do not work in my head . Why not just match the white from the new gables and then please do some landscaping to bring this house to life . I would use this for inspiration since the front of the home is very MCM frond oor and garage door would be abig improvement too.Similar to the pic.

Still no definitive answer on the house color. I've been playing around with an online color program and have been able to eliminate some colors. Grays don't look right, Darker Tans and Dark Beiges blend too much with the roof. Blues didn't look right. Not going with stone, but shutters are an option. What is the opinion on this option? Kilim Beige Exterior, Alabaster Trim and Shutters in a shade of blue (Slate Tile pictured)? Open to different shutter colors too (seal skin, . Am I on the right track?? ANOTHER option that I just put together is Downing Straw, Alabaster Trim with Studio Blue Green Shutters (or a similar look). Only problems I see with going this route is the house diagonal from us is very similar to this color (minus the shutters) and husband is saying no to yellow again (2 of our previous houses were yellow).

Are those some kind of storm shutters that close across the windows? Are you sure they are paintable? If you search this site for photos of "red tile roof" you'll see lots of inspiration pix. You'll be able to narrow down the possibilities by seeing actual homes with your roof color and the various ways they've been painted.
