Going to just chime in here--I ordered from Rove concepts--an entire bedroom furniture set (bed, mirror, dresser and 2x nightstands). My order is being shipped in two separate orders. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to split the reviews into two: delivery and actual product. They use third party delivery which is an entirely different company altogether with their own processes and policies. That's a separate subject--most people I have seen that have had issue with Rove is because of this. I was lucky, I live in Los Angeles where we have competent and plentiful delivery options and I live in a single story home so access is easy and there's no stairs to be dealt with. Today, my first order arrived which was my two nightstands and mirror. Both packaged very well and this was just standard delivery. Had them drop it off at my entrance foyer and it was easy and painless. Unpacking was challenging as it was actually quite heavy but I'm very happy with what I got and actually think the quality is really good. However, this is only 1 of 2 shipments so we'll see--the big guns are coming which is the dresser and calking bed... I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one and for that, I selected White Glove delivery. I didn't at first but I reached out to customer service and had them charge me the difference for upgrading to White Glove which they were able to do with no issues aside from a little slowness in response but I anticipate that all businesses are experiencing that with COVID and reduced staffing. When customers are unhappy, they're very quick to complain and rightfully so--a lot of people paid good money to be dissatisfied but I also wanted to balance it out and chime in for having a--so-far--good experience.

you want an aniline dyed leather where the color goes all the way through, not where just the surface is dyed. we have cats and the very minor surface scratches they have made show an ugly white. if the leather were aniline dyed and the black color went all the way through, it would just add "character" and not show a different color and look tacky. It was the sales rep who recommended that because the chair was for home use I didn't need to spend the extra money for a top grade leather. I am distressed that I followed that bad advice because I usually opt for quality and longevity.

Really personal style isn't "decorated" by a designer. It is more a case of yanking disparate elements together to make a whole. One that is you, that will live and grow and change as the need arises. It can't be done with a boatload of reclaimed wood off a truck, word signs, and big clocks. It has to evolve in conjunction with a life within the home. If you don't have a "life"........and no offense here but by that I mean if you buy junk, and spend life going in and out of a big garage in a big SUV with the junk IN the SUV? You can't get to "that house" I just referenced. " That house" is a reflection of books read, music played, friends entertained, travels taken, and LIFE.It reflects time, past and present. In the beginning...... you fake "life" but you don't FILL the space. Because you must leave room for the life you will continue to live. Stuff has a way of coming in, and staying. Make sure you don't bring in "guests" you wouldn't want around for a WHILE. Many years ago I got a client, big home. We hit it off right away. I was terrified, to then the biggest thing I ever did. In fake it until you make it style, I realized a couple months in, that I had been GIFTED. She owned relatively little furniture, but art, accessories, more art....books, artifacts, were there in abundance.!!! She had been waiting for her REAL home, so that's what she bought, afraid to commit to "furniture" in a real sense. We had a ball : ) When done, another designer and friend of hers saw the house. Her remark? " Wow, it doesn't look like a decorator just left!!, that is so difficult to do" I consider it to this day, the highest of compliments. She was right btw, and usually that IS hard. In this case? Not so much : ) You just can't buy a life. It has to be lived.
