Backsplash ideas for kitchen with River Blue/Fantasy Blue countertops?
Comments (10)Something close to the wall color pictured. You can always change the wall color after you find tile you like. The wall color doesn't need to be identical to the tile color, they just need to have the same undertone. There are hundreds of different paint colors. Bring home some tile samples and see what appears to work....See Morebacksplash ideas?
Comments (10)Hi, It's the second time I have used Ocean Jaspar and I still love it. Last time we used white subway tile with an occasional glass seahorse tile and it was really pretty. This time I wanted to get away from the "safe" white subways- I'm tired of seeing them in everyone's kitchens ... So we chose this flower pattern with grey and white marble. The "flowers" have tiny orange centers that contrast well with the green color of the kitchen. Not installed yet as you can see....See MoreBacksplash ideas needed, please.
Comments (30)Thanks Beth! Yes there is lots of that light green color in my island granite. The perimeter granite reads black overall, but it actually has green flecks in it, plus random blue flecks here and there. Hard to capture. My kitchen and well, pretty much the entire rest of the house, unfortunately had to go on the back burner for awhile and never got finished. I need to repaint walls, ceiling, baseboards, and cabinets. I will have to start my own thread one of these days asking for help from you and others to pull everything together. I have learned so much from you already! I have a thread with your cabinet painting instructions saved for when I tackle the cabinets. Your entire house is stunning btw. You have such a talent for design! Sorry @lscheffler86, didn’t mean to hijack your thread. Let me know if you find any backsplash tiles you like and I can try to mock them up for you if you want....See MoreBacksplash ideas
Comments (9)I would think about a whisper-soft light green, maybe in a glass tile. I think that would look wonderful with your wood tones (both of them) and act as a bridge with the wood, the counter, and the flooring -- would tie it all together and bring in a gentle element of color. Fireclay has some gorgeous light greens. Tile Colors | Fireclay Tile BTW -- I love the color of your kitchen cabs, I'm getting a peaceful vibe....See MoreRachel Simanski
