Matching Cedar Wood Stain

I recently had my cedar siding corn blasted (kind of like sand blasted) to remove its solid stain. I then went ahead and had it stained natural semi translucent. prior to beginning the painter did some test samples right on the front of our house, and then sanded them away.

after staining the entire house the stain looks perfect, except the two boards that were sanded. they took on an entirely different, brighter color. any idea how i can blend this better without having the painter remove these boards, sandblast then restain?
