Comments (6)I agree with Mike. Did I just say that again?? You need to learn how to use the search function. Oh great I just lined her up for more questions. You have asked the same questions over and over and over again and many of those questions had answers on the first page of the forum you posted on. Read the top of every forum page until you can follow the directions without reading it. Read the instructions at the bottom of every forum page until you can follow them without reading them. Do a search, read the FAQ and go through the titles on every forum page before posting. Many of the members are fed up and will probably ignore future questions especially if they know the answers are posted on the first page of topics. I've just been lurking on all of your topics and most of them are cross posted to other forums which goes against the TOS. I'm not falling for you naive questions when you too often ignore the answers you get. Do some research on your own and use the forum as it should be used or get reported....See MoreWhat type of fuel should I use for this fireplace?
Comments (2)That's a coal fireplace for small lump or large stoker size (about the size of an egg). However, because you're in London, you are likely in a smoke control area and thus cannot use anything but smoke-free "approved" fuel. The originally intended bituminous coal is not allowed. Any local supplier will know what coals and fuels are acceptable in London's smoke control area. A supplier such as this one: http://www.londoncoal.co.uk/...See MoreHelp! Should I leave our TV centered above the fireplace or mantel?
Comments (33)I would paint lower cabinet doors black and insides of bookcase black. Add a couple simple white and gold accessories along with a group of books light backs. Add simple look on mantel on side of TV. Add black woven basket for toys beside fireplace. Add stack of birch logs to fireplace for decorative look if you don’t use it often. Do not put personal photos on this wall. Better in gallery arrangement in master br or in hallway. You can enjoy more when you can get closer to them. Guests aren’t interested in your personal stuff. Keep it simple since your sweet baby will be running around before you know it!...See MoreWhat color SW paint should i use to paint my brick fireplace?
Comments (1)Is there a reason you want to paint the brick? It is because you're chasing the all-white look? Or is the brick truly bad? I had a painted brick fireplace at my other house, was there when I moved in and frankly it looked cheap. I did have it repainted a different color which improved it -- but painted brick is not an attractive look IMO. If it's truly horrible gold or pink brick or something, then go for it, but if it's a perfectly service traditional red, brown, or grey brick I'd work with it. Posting a pic would help responses....See More3onthetree
