Trying to figure out how to match these bricks on a 1942 chimney

I'm trying to brick-match this white-painted brick chimney for a porch project. The previous owner painted this chimney white and I'll be using bricks that match--and I'll paint white-- for a new porch.

Before previous owners painted: You can see the top looks like regular, modular extruded red brick, but you can see some kind of coating on the lower 3/4 of the chimney. This is the only shot I have from before painting.

Bottom of Chimney as it looks today : the bricks look more rounded or rustic, almost molded?

Super Close-Up

I don't know if the bottom is original brick and the top has been replaced, or if the red-coating visible in the before painting shots are causing some texture or what...

To match what it looks like at the bottom, should I get regular modular? modular molded? modular regular but tumbled/rumbled? I'm a bit overwhelmed.
