That actually looks like a good product and one I had not tried. Since turning 70 (i am now 73) I have also been on a quest for a new eye cream. In doing so I also discovered that some cause milia, so do your research on ingredients. I had never had a problem with these, so now in my old age have to watch for anything containing parabens, liquid petroleums, mineral oils and some others that can clog sensitive eye pores. I tried a lot of inexpensive ones that seemed very good at first (Olay, L’Oreal) and a few other expensives ones that were just mediocre at helping with the crepey look. To me, this is often amplified with the application of corrector and concealer so I go pretty easy on this.

I have settled on Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base for day (an undereye moisturizer and primer) and Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye for nighttime.

I dilute the lavendula soap and use it in a foamer. As often as I wash my hands, it really helps to keep them from getting too dry. In my next order, I’m adding the niacinimide serum.

I have heard many times that eye creams are not necessary, use the same cream you use for your face and save your money, unless of course you have money to burn, then burn away, its good for the economy.

Its funny… i haven’t found an eye cream that doesn’t make my eyes water . I can use all my moisturizers up to my eyes wiithout irritation but under eye creams always make my eyes tear. what the heck?

Dee, I also really like belif aqua bomb, but usually only buy it when I can get it at Costco. I also like ROC, which seems to smooth the crepey-ness. I haven't tried Kiehls.

To address the question of whether or not eye creams are necessary.....I follow several board certified dermatologists online. Some are minimalists, like Dr. Dray, who say regular cream is good enough under your eyes. Others, like Dr. Ranella Hirsch, say it's a great option for people who have under eye concerns like dark circles or whatever. My own dermatologist is of the opinion that if they work for you and address your concerns, great. If not, don't use them.

Bluebell, which ROC do you like for crepey-ness? I've tried some different ones, IIRC some versions didn't really make a difference and some irritated my eyes.

After using the aqua bomb for a while my DD came home from college and asked me if I had my eyes done. That was all the evidence that I needed :)

So you use the aqua bomb in the white container on your eyes which is what prompted your daughter to ask if you had your eyes done??? (again that combo set looks wonderful but I don't do well with to many options...it confuses me terribly and I end up with nothing).

Salonva, Costco doesn't currently appear to have any Belif products. But if you try it from Sephora or wherever and like it, check the Costco web site and the area of the store they sell that stuff in occasionally and it might pop up again.

salonva, I use the aqua bomb. There is a small size for $22, it's slightly more expensive per ml but, to me, $22 still feels like less of a financial gamble than $38. Also, a little goes a long way so you'll still be able to get a good idea if it works for you.

@deegw the one you show is not an eye cream? Is this what you use on your eyes, all over your face, what??? I'm ordering today!

Tina, it's meant for all over but I just use it under my eyes. I have other face creams that are much less expensive which work fine on the rest of my face. It's just that thin crepey skin under my eyes that apparently needs the more expensive stuff.
