HELP PLEASE! Opinions needed on floor color with cabinet color
Comments (3)I usually focus on the connection between counter and floor as they are two large horizontal surfaces and you want a connection. You don't want competition though. Might the herringbone create competition with your counter? that would be a drawback to that choice. Do you have a counter chosen......until that's known, either of these is really workable with the cabinetry. Personally, I like the herringbone, but it would mean care with counter..maybe just a really plain counter....See Morecancer patient needs advise on glue for LVT floor
Comments (1)Mapei makes some AMAZING adhesives with zero VOCs. They are expensive but they are the cat's meow when it comes to safe adhesives. Your flooring professional should be able to source some for you. Here is ONE example of many that Mapei makes: http://www.mapei.com/public/CA/products/UltrabondECO360_TDS_EA.pdf As soon as it says "eco" on it, it means VOC safe. This one is LESS THAN 34 g/L (CARB II requires less than 250 g/L to be legal in California)....See MoreFront door color opinion needed please
Comments (12)I will try to post a photo after I paint it in the next week. Planning to go with a very dark oil-rubbed bronze finish hardware. I think the front door is very important to get right! This is probably going to be a longer-term, short term rental for someone like a traveling nurse. Thanks everyone for contributing!...See MoreI’m need opinions with my basement color choice
Comments (7)Its hard to tell if the white on the trim and the cabinets is the same or close enough, in your pictures, but, I can say, that I do not like the wood toned cabinets with your floors, nor the walls. The wall paint goes good with the white cabinets, but not the floors. I might consider, not having the wood cabinets, they should be white too. Only you can tell if the white on the trim, goes with the white on the cabinets. I would pick a different wall paint, that goes with the white cabinets and trim, and floors....See MoreAbby Mac
