Hello HOUZZ Community,

My husband and I recently purchased a home and it is like a flashback in time. The house has not had any updates since it's build in 1973. While we are getting good ideas for interior, our exterior color is a big stump. Everyone in the area is doing the standard all white with black. However, we would prefer something other than what everyone else is doing. Current thoughts are possibly white washing the brick and doing the siding a dark color with nice wood trims. Would love feedback on color schemes or even alternatives to painting the brick and utilizing what is already there. We hate the yellow though, that has to go.
