I have no idea what your question is but I will assume you are debating between the Bosch Benchmark Side Opening Oven versus the GE French Door oven. I just finished a remodel and I considered the side opening oven as well as French door models. As I recall, the least expensive French Door model was the GC Cafe and it was a tad more expensive than the Bosch Benchmark Side Opening Oven. I went with the Bosch Side Opening oven because I liked having one door that swing all the way to the side and therefore I could stand in front of the oven and not have any obstruction at all in terms of the landing spot on the counter next to the oven. The French Door ovens definitely have a coolness factor in terms of "looks" since everyone can tell you have a French door oven while most people have no idea that you have a super functional side door oven. In terms of comparing ergonomic functionality, there is NO COMPARISON between side opening or French door ovens and standard bottom opening ovens since you can stand directly in front of the oven versus having to stand at the side to load and unload. When I was buying my oven, Bosch was the only side opening oven but my friend who is now in the market for ovens told me that Thermador has a model which is slightly more expensive than the equivalent Bosch. I believe Thermador is a sister company of Bosch.

If your designer says you can fit a 48” range, then you can fit a 36” rangetop and 30” double wall ovens. Note I said *rangetop*, not range and not cooktop. You‘d get everything you need. A 36” wide rangetop will give you 6 burners, yet not need the enormous exhaust and upper wall space of a 48” range. (You’ll still need a good exhaust though, don’t overlook that whatever you do). You’d get your 2 ovens. And they won’t be cavernous 36” ovens that take a while to heat up. And you put your pots and pans in the deep drawers directly under the rangetop (see pic) for great convenience and efficient use of space. And you won’t have to bend down for that low range oven either. Win, win, win, win. Here comes that Thanksgiving turkey or that roast, imagine basting while standing straight. Here are some photos of rangetops in case you aren’t familiar. (P.S. your rangetop and separate double 30” wall ovens do not have to be the same brand.)

Unfortunately most of those reviews are directly from ge's site, or from a sweepstakes entry which often means the bad ones are deleted or they are not completely honest due to getting it for free. I'm hoping to find some real customers who are willing to discuss it with me. Owners of other similar GE Cafe ovens are welcome as well. I just chatted with customer support and as far as they could tell from a quick look it is the same as the CGB550P2MS1. Thanks for your help!

It appears that the Cafe CTD70DP2NS1 will fit but you must make sure that the refrigerator is pulled out enough so that the right-hand refrigerator door does not hit the oven's handles when it is opened all the way (i.e., past 90 degrees). The oven handles protrude 3" from the front of the oven. Note that the oven must be hard-wired to the electrical box. It can't be plugged into the existing outlet. -- amateur
