Gas line/meter sticking past house corner and in to driveway ?

The placement of the gas meter near the corner of our studio resulted in the gas line being out past the corner of the building and in a driveway (the shed is used for boat storage). The driveway curves in the direction from where the photo was taken so pulling out I'll be cutting across that corner. I'd be much less concerned if the driveway curved the other way.

Is this legal? I'd think it'd be required to be at least x" from a corner.

Thoughts on solutions? Move it? Install concrete filled posts to guard it?

Thanks,
