Mirror condensation with bathroom fan?

How effective is the bathroom exhaust fan supposed to be at removing moisture? Current Nutone fan (Broan-NuTone QT Series Fan) is installed above the shower and is turned on before even running the water. Is it normal to still have condensation on the mirror and shower walls (above shower head) after a 15-min shower? Happens whether the door is closed or left ajar. Sometimes, there's even moisture on the door jamb which is about 6-ft from shower.

The bathroom is less than 40 sq. ft and the fan is supposed to be effective in rooms up to 140 sq. ft. Contractor checked a while back and the fan exhausts directly to outside and not the attic. The fan passed the tissue test as well. Timer is set at 60 mins so it runs a good 30 minutes after shower as well.

Will be redoing this bathroom and I'm trying to figure out if this fan is performing adequately or needs to be replaced.
