yet ANOTHER... what would you do (front door color) ? (Picture!)
Comments (75)Thank you! Gail, the light is old, not original, but probably 20 years. During my light hunting, I did see many similar ones.. try searching for nautical lighting or coastal lighting. There was another company I had booked marks as well.. I'll see if I can find them!...See MoreWrong number of doors for a hutch cabinet what would you do
Comments (19)RMSAustin, I think it is very common to have two of these similar cabinets next two each other. Though these cabinets could be slightly wider than 24" inches. I think the issue of the doors damaging is true where ever you have two double doors cabinets next two each other correct? Why would this be different. Just trying to see if I am missing something. I have also been told that if you do a treatment on one side of a piece of wood (table or door, for example) it will eventually warp. If you’re going to buy a drop-dead-gorgeous craftsman door, don’t paint it. The one in my old house was ordered from Oregon and the house is in NY. It still looks good, according to my neighbors....See MoreBookcase Barn Door : What Would You Do?
Comments (12)I would not do a barn door on that. I don't think the styles would look right together. I'm not even sure you have enough room on the top to attach the necessary hanging hardware. Instead, I'd see if it's possible to have doors made that cover the bottom 2 shelves on both sides. Putting more decorative stuff on top and hiding games behind the doors. Seems more suited to the style of cabinet....See MoreKendrah
