Is the dark bronze really dark so as to look almost black, or is it more of a rusty brown color? If really dark, I'd go with the bronze but if more of a rusty color, I'd go with satin nickle as that will match the door handles while a lighter bronze might just end up looking like a rusty hinge. On the plus side, it is possible to purchase black door hinges (see the link below) and it isn't all that hard to change them out after you move in. Basically, just be sure to get the same size and style hinges (they mostly come in 3 inch or 4 inch and with square or rounded off edges) then remove and replace one hinge at a time while the door remains attached and supported by the other two (or sometimes three) hinges. I just checked my half gallon of light Silk and it only has 80 calories. The only other milk I have in the refrigerator right now is 2% my husband's and it says 130 calories. I always drink skim too, but like them all, even buttermilk. Sue

Sorry for the delay, I've not been on Garden Web for awhile. Unfortunately, the finisher mixes their own glaze. If I look closely in the corners where the most is accumulated, I'd call it just a dark brown. Sorry I can't be of more help. And thanks for the compliment of using my kitchen as your inspiration! I mainly use cream towels in one and linen in the other. I also have navy and burgundy towels that I'll occasionally use in the one bathroom since they match, are nice, and were gifts. When DH and I married someone bought us a BUNCH of white towels and washcloths. I use those as the junky towels for hair color, etc. I don't bother to remove any stains on these. Also, I think white towels look too stark and out of place for in my bathrooms or I'd revisit that color choice. I've been using white washcloths in the kitchen this past year, but I must not be doing something right with bleach because I have to do a lot of soaking to get them white. Maybe I'll try the White Bright as an experiment.
